Project Manager/Scheduler

Ms. Hyler has over 27 years of scheduling, program/construction management, and claims analysis experience. She has acquired extensive experience with buildings, water/ wastewater treatment plants, and other civil projects.

Project Experience
Relevant Projects Include:

  • Mission Hospital ER Consolidation.  Established a schedule that shows the interrelation of departments and phasing of work to consolidate ERs for management review.
  • Mission Hospital Site Master Plan Facility Plan.  Reviewed and coordinated design and construction schedules for four interrelated major Master Plan projects.
  • Mission Hospital Data Center.  Assisted the contractor in preparing a construction schedule and maintained the schedule for both the Contractor and Mission.
  • Mission Hospital Capital Projects Schedule.  Meet with Project mangers to maintained and revised Capital Projects schedule for use by management.
  • Harris and Associates Scheduling Consultant.  As their scheduling consultant, reviewed various public construction projects for compliance with scheduling requirements and constraints.  The following are some of the projects worked reviewed:
    • Upper Northwest Interceptor Water Distribution Tunnel for Sacramento, CA.
    • Central Marin Wastewater Upgrade project, Mill Valley, CA.
    • Santa Cruz Metro Maintenance Facility, Santa Cruz, CA.
    • Mercy Hospital (New Hospital) – prepared schedule summary report for hospital CEO, Merced, CA.
    • Ceres Community Center, Ceres, CA.
    • Monterey County Health Department Renovation, Monterey, CA.
    • Maintenance Facility Renovation, Lincoln, CA.
    • Monterey County Courthouse North Wing Expansion, Monterey, CA.
  • Waterstone Place, 198 Condominium Unit Complex, $50 Million.   Assisted Riverwood Construction Company prepare and maintain their construction schedule.
  • Cherry Blossom Townhouses 28 units, $7 Million.   Assisted Riverwood Construction Company prepare and maintain their construction schedule.
  • Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion, District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, $250 million.   As a subconsultant to Brown and Caldwell was responsible for the preparation of a design/construction schedule.  The purpose of the schedule was to validate the estimated construction duration and review the impacts to the construction schedule due to the phasing and construction constraints.
  • Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories Bldg 583, $2.5 Million.   Assisted W. E. Lyons in preparation of their initial schedule, monthly updates, and justifications for time extension requests.
  • Creekside Community Center, $2 million.  Responsible for preparing and updating the monthly schedule for this $2 Million project.
  • Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories Cafeteria Building, $3 million.  Assisted W. E. Lyons in preparation of their initial schedule, monthly updates, and justifications for time extension requests.
  • Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, Dublin San Ramon Services District. $30 Million.  Responsible for preparing an extensive design schedule to assist in establishing the sequence constraints for building the project and determining the contract construction duration.
  • San Ramon Service Center, City of San Ramon, $2 million.  Responsible for oversight of the full-time construction manager and reviewing all construction schedules for progress shown, acceptability of revisions to schedule, and compliance with contract.
  • Residential Specific Plan Capital Improvement Program, City of Tracy.  As program manger of this $150 million program, her responsibilities included preparation of all program project schedules and monitoring the entire program schedule to keep city staff informed of the program status; and preparation and yearly review of program project cost estimates for determining necessary revisions to developer fees, program schedule, and cash flow for the program.
  • San Ramon Library, $2.5 million.  Responsible for reviewing contractor’s monthly schedules for progress shown, acceptability of revisions to schedule, and compliance with contract requirements for this $2.5 million project.
  • San Ramon Community Center, $4.5 million.  Responsible for reviewing contractor’s monthly schedules for progress shown, acceptability of revisions to schedule, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Civic Center, City of Dublin, $10 million.  As construction manager for project, responsible for interfacing with the city and architect, resolving daily construction problems, reviewing the monthly schedule, and estimating and negotiating construction change orders.
